In Drogheda a new music venue was born. Eamonn & Irene Mc Hugh opened their premises in the heart of Drogheda, Co. Louth. Mc Hughs is a genuine,traditional Irish family owned and family run pub.This pub is as real as it gets.Mc Hughs Venue is a modern,purpose built venue that is perfect for live performances.It is probably one of the best live venues in Ireland,and certainly is in the Louth area. The venue has hosted many of Irelands top acts, bands and comedians which include: The Coronas, Jerry Fish,Damien Dempsey, Aslan,Horslips, The Blizzards, The Delerentoes, Dirty Epics, Mick Flannery, Kila, Jack L, Director, Duke Special, Maria Doyle Kennendy and many others.
