Venue info

The Blind Pig originally occupied the basement space that now houses the 8 Ball Saloon. It was moved to it's current location above the 8 Ball in the early 1980s. The Blind Pig was strictly a blues venue for the first 10 years of its existence. After the venue was moved upstairs, the larger space allowed for louder bands and became an important stop for nationally touring punk, new wave and alternative bands as well as hosting local acts.
