The home of both San Diego County Fair and Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, both of which host concerts that are often included in the regular admission price. See respective websites for more details.
Typically, the fair runs from early June through early July.
The races run from late July through early September.
There are numerous names for the different "venues" and stages throughout the enormous complex.
Chevrolet Del Mar Arena - 3500 capacity
O'Brien Hall - 6800 capacity
Bing Crosby Hall - 3500 capacity
Wyland Center - 3000 capacity
Mission Tower - 1200 capacity

Concerts: Concerts begin after the last race and are free with your paid Admission. Admission never sells out, simply pay your Admission as you walk through the gate. On concert days, after the 7th race Admission will be $20.00. The concert area is standing room only – no reserved seating is available.

The Fair's Toyota Summer Concert Series features well-known singers, bands and comedians, performing on our largest stage, the Heineken Grandstand Stage. Most shows are free with Fair admission for unreserved seats, but you can buy a reserved seat for any of the shows.
The Paddock Concert Series features nationally known performers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, plus bonus concerts June 25 and July 5, in the Fair's most intimate concert setting.
