Tierra Legacy continues the Latin R&B sounds of Tierra, the pioneering East Los Angeles Chicano band founded in 1972. Tierra achieved national fame with their unique blend of rock, pop, jazz, R&B, and salsa, and produced classics such as "Gonna Find Her” and "Memories." Their hit song "Together" reached no. 14 on Billboard Magazine's Hot 100.
With the recent passing of the band’s leaders, Rudy and Steve Salas, the family decided to keep the music alive through “Tierra Legacy.” Led by David and Richard Salas, the new iteration of the band includes original and longtime members who created the hit songs for Tierra, and two fresh and exciting new lead singers.
Tierra Legacy continues to captivate fans with a strong social media presence, extraordinary live shows and new music, keeping the dynamic and unforgettable band alive.
It was great, everyone at the concert was lay back and happy to be there. The songs sounded even better live we even got to take pictures with the many singers and performers after the show. I loved it that the guys from Tierra were so kind to want to take pictures with us
