Abandon All Ships is a hardcore band that typically plays in smaller venues but brings a show everytime.
When I saw them live they were the last band to play at the event and the anticipation for them to play for me and everyone else in the crowd was high. We all kind of pushed off the other bands and did not pay attention to them as much because we were so excited for Abandon All Ships to come out. They were walking around their merch table before they played and this showed they wanted to meet all the fans. They were talking to all of us and would even give stickers and buttons out. I got a shirt from the singer as well as a sticker.
When they finally got around to playing they brought out a big banner with their name on it prior to their set. This set the excitement level very high because we knew they were about to come out. The singer and other members came out jumping up and down and starting their set with the song 'Take Your Last Breath'. The song sounded great and since I own the album I knew all of the words and could sing along with the singer when he wanted us to do so. The band did not have any special clothes or special lighting effects that went along with their show but the skill and accuracy of their musicianship made us for this. The band made me glad I waited around for them and I thought they were a great band to see live.
