Naked Eyes

I had the opportunity to see the Naked Eyes live for the first time and it was pretty good. I thought I had never heard of this band before and was only going because my friend had tickets and needed someone to go with her.

Imagine my surprise when they started playing. I love their songs. They are simple yet fun songs that take me back to a special time. My mom used to play their songs all of the time and I would dance around to them when I was younger. I still listen to music from this generation and it still makes me happy.

They held the show in a small venue. The band played on a small simple stage, with minimal lighting and décor. The band has gotten older but their enthusiasm for their craft still shows, which was refreshing. They were very interactive with the crowd and kept them on their toes. They made sure no one was left sitting in the venue. Their voices are still in great shape and you would never know they have been playing for as long as they have.

I am glad I got to experience this wonderful group live.
