Venue info

The Ambassador Theatre is a concrt hall located at 165 Parnell Street, Dublin. There is a 1200 person capacity at the Ambassador. The building itself was built in 1764, primarily used for fund raising for the nearby hospital. From 1897 the venue, then known as the Rotund Room, hosted film screenings. The space functioned on and off as a cinema until 1994 when it became a music venue. The space is now owned by Dublin City Council.
