Funkagenda

From starting off in a West Midlands studio to playing all across the globe in places like the Middle East and Australia, Funkagenda's rise to fame has been phenomenal since he first introduced himself to the scene in 2008. Well known for playing in the party island of Ibiza, Funkagenda has been well rewarded for his efforts, winning the 'Best Ibiza Track', 'Best House Track and 'Best Newcomer' all in the same year, which acted as a pedestal for him to get more recognition. A DJ and a producer, this man has an innate ability to set the dance floor alight.

Funkagenda and Mark Knight have been touring together and have formed a formidable partnership in recent years, so when the two DJ'd at Space Ibiza in 2012, you know something big was going to happen. Not only is his mixing effortless, but he can pretty much mix any tune you want and still make it into a club classic - from Swedish House Mafia to Nirvana! Funkagenda also had a neat idea that occasionally when a song dropped, a CGI wall would shatter behind him, which I thought was very innovative. Whenever Funkagenda is on the decks, it is an inevitability that you won't stop sweating or dancing until the early morning.
