Biografia
Pepe Aguilar was born in Texas in the south of the U.S., however was raised south of the border in Zacatecas, Mexico by his parents and musical recording legends Antonio Aguilar and Flor Silvestre. With substantial support from his parents at an early age, it wasn’t long before the singer made his recording debut at New York’s Madison Square Garden at the tender age of five.
Using money he had saved, Aguilar bought himself a drum set in his teens and later formed the band Equs, based on the influences of Pink Floyd and The Who. Equs failed to last long as a band however did cemented Aguilar’s interest in the music industry and the singer turned his hand to music production. Throughout the 1990s Aguilar produced songs for the likes of Lupita D’alessia and Julieta Venegas before making his mark as an artist himself.
It wasn’t long before the singer-songwriter shot to national and international esteem for his mixing of traditional tejano and mariachi with his personal style of pop. Arguably Aguilar’s most popular album “Por Mujeres Como Tu” remained in the Billboard albums chart for 52 weeks consecutively, eventually selling over two-million copies worldwide. Subsequently his 1999 album “Por Una Mujer Bonita” won him a latin Grammy for Best Mexican-American/Tejano Music Performance, the win would turn out to be one of four Grammy wins for the songwriter.
Aguilar has since released the popular albums “Y Tenerte Olta Vez” in 2003, “No Soy de Nadie” in 2004 and “Historias de Mi Tierra” in 2005, all of which have seen the singer reach new heights of commercial and critical success.

Let me start of by saying WOW!! a concert is not the way to describe Pepe Auilars performance but more like a Live performance with a feeling of being on the actual stage. Each year keeps getting better. This is my 7th year straight going to see this wonderful performer. Not only is his voice the best in latin singing but his visual set up to his outfit is just spectacular. Adding his kids to the show makes it more family oriented which is not something you see too often. We have made it a ladies night out since the first time and it has been continued that way. We started with with probably 10 ladies and Saturday's concert we were 17!. It was a magic night with a magic number. 17 ladies and it was on October "17". To whoever may be doubting going to his concert, I assure you, it is worth every penny. You will not regret it. His performance has been outstanding since our first journey and each year he continues to give better and better shows. All the awards he has earned have been given in all honesty because he backs up each one of them in his spectacular singing. He is such a lay back person, he is very humble and takes such pride to give his 200% at every performance. It is an honor to have him upon our many latin singers but he has a very special place in that long list. I consider him the #1 performer/singer due to how he has so much pride in what he does. And that is displayed through his singing and performance. I love how he acknowledges his musicians and back up singers. He gives them the acknowledgement of a job well done. He is an awesome human being. We love you Pepe and would love to have more performances here in LA. L.A. loves you!!

Pepe Aguilar always gives his best in each and every performance. This year 2014 was awesome I attended 6 possibly 7 concerts of his. Can not wait to hear his latest single MTV Unplugged Entre Dos Rios LIVE in concert. Got to love his Rock-N-Roll side! With his new album Pepe Aguilar MTV Unplugged Live coming out in October makes his concerts even more exciting!
This was my first time actually attending his concert at this venue Old Concrete Street in Corpus Christi. It was great with VIP package & front row!! What better way to attend a concert if you are not in front row!! Pepe always makes it more exciting with his emblem towels that he cleans his sweat from his brow, go girls fight for those towels well there are guys too that fight for these towels haha! I always have a great time. Pepe Aguilar & his Mariachi's Zacatecanos always make it worth your money! There are times that Pepe Aguilar will bring surprise guest on stage, even more worth while to see! I at times will get a chance to go back stage to say hello to everyone which is awesome! I can not wait for the next concert that I will be able to attend. Pepe Aguilar is a great music artist, very outgoing & cool, as long as I can I will attend his concerts!

The music of American/Mexican singer/songwriter Pepe Aguilar is not confined to the Latino countries due to his universal pop sounds and likeable stage performance. The Grammy award winner has been working the live circuit for over three decades and after finding influence from rock artists such as The Who and Pink Floyd, he adds a sense of grandeur to his performance that is not necessarily associated with latino artists.
He has released a huge number of albums over his career so picking the setlist is a tough job however he consolidates his best work into a succinct list for this evening's performance and it keeps the fans dancing and moving for just short of two hours. He also has a great mannerism with his crowds, addressing them as one with total ease and maintaining a great rapport throughout. This is perhaps why he then receives just a momentous round of applause as he takes his final bows with his accompanying band.

Pepe Aguilar's concert was great! Truly lives up to the meaning of the word----spectacular! Mr. Aguilar's daughter Angela stole the show and that is considering that Pepe and the entire show was fabulous! Leonardo has a voice so much like his father's and a personality to match. I am still sighing and keep hearing that beautiful music over and over in my mind! Beautiful family with talent that is hard to match or beat. Hurry back!!!!

Excellent concert ive seen several of the families concerts back in the days with Mr. Antonio at front with his family. The Aguilar family tradition continues with Pepe and his offsprings singing new and traditional songs with Pepe diversity in music with Rancheras Norteñas Banda and Rock making the new era an exciting evolution and a entertaining paramount show.

Although concert was started late it was a great. I love how he is so family orientated and introduced his children with there great performance up on stage..I wish his
concerts were longer, next time I want to be closer to this big boy..Love You Pepe till next time

Once again the Concert was Great , Love it everytime I see Pepe in Concert. Last night's Concert was even more special being it's been a year since my Mom was Buried on the Day of this concert, Celebration of Mom Life going to the Pepe Concert was a Memoral Day.

This was an amazing show!!! Enjoyed every minute!!! I loved seeing him perform with his children, both very talented! I hope Pepe Aguilar can come out to KC for a concert, tickets would sell out fast! Best performance since seeing Vicente Fernandez.
