Fadil El Ghoul, yes that is his surname, and I know, it is awesome! Unfortunately he doesn’t go by that as a stage name though. He goes by R3hab. Creative.
However, questionable stage names aside, this Moroccan/Algerian DJ who has won the IDM Best Breakthrough Artist Award, is set to perform a fantastically gripping and atmospheric set this evening. Everyone is excited, if a little intoxicated, but hey, it should be a pretty fun evening to say the least! I’m here with an open mind ready to just take in whatever is before me. As an artist in his own right he has released a great number of singles that have turned into hits, not necessarily in the charts, but they have maintained his loyal following. “Get Get Down” is the wild opener, aptly titled, seeing everyone around me literally Getting Down. When in Rome hey! “Androids” is an interesting song that goes down fantastically with this audience, I mean, R3hab can’t really put a foot wrong with his EDM equipment in front of him, and the play button.
