British DJ and producer Solarstone has been turning out grade A quality trance music since 1994. Originally a collaborative project between Rich Mowatt, Andy Bury and Sam Tierney, today Rich Mowatt carries the baton alone and continues to bring Solarstone music to the dance-loving masses.

See Solarstone live and you will find yourself surrounded by like-minded trance-loving partiers ready to give their bodies over to the music and dance until they drop. Personal space seems to be a rare luxury for Solarstone: during his sets fans crowd around the DJ booth mesmerised by his hands which seem to always be in four different places at once. As someone who has seen Solarstone DJ up close and personal, I can verify that watching the master at work is beyond fascinating.

‘Seven Cities’ is undeniably one of Solarstone’s most popular tracks, and crowds have come to expect him to put a unique twist on the record with every live performance. Expecting the unexpected is kind of a given during a Solarstone set.
