The Alien Weaponry show at the DC9 club in Washington, DC last night was fantastic!! I was on cloud nine last night! Alien Weaponry was totally great, and they sound very good! They did all of their songs from their debut album, "Tu" and they also did a new song that is not out yet, called "Ahi Ka, which was very good too! I am waiting for it to come out, so I can buy it! I love the energy that Alien Weaponry bought to the crowd, with the fans singing, and moshing to all to their songs! Their opening acts, "Master Sword," and SHVPES, were fantastic also! Master Sword's lead singer has a very beautiful voice, and her voice reminded me of Amy Lee of Evanesence. They were good and SHVPES from England were very exciting! They were a very energetic sounding band also, and I love how the lead singer combined rap with metal music and I loved his dancing energy! Very different and great! I did get to meet and chat with Alien Weaponry after their performance, and they are such very nice young guys. They signed two of the Alien Weaponry T-shirts that I purchased, and their vinyl album, Tu! Also, I love the fact that the DC9 venue stage is small, because I was right up on Alien Weaponry, and that made me very happy! I hope that the DC9 venue in Washington, DC will bring them back again, because I love these guys so much! Again, great show! I love how they sing in Maori and English, and I hope they will come back to the DC9 venue again real soon!! Awesome show!!
Really cool show! These guys are funny and sweet and they know how to put a crowd on fire! Plus we could meet them after the show and that was so cool! They were all happy and smiling even if they probably were really tired.
If I can, I will definitely go again!
AC seemed to not be working and it was very hot. Opening act lacked something to be desired. Alien Weaponry was phenomenal!!!! Great musicians with a lot of energy. Looking forward to seeing them next time I get an opportunity.
Amazing live band. The band sound great live, they have great chemistry with the fans. Love the Haka they performed before the show. Will be going to see them again
