Jesus Jones may not be as popular as they were in their heyday but they can still pack almost any venue. I used to see this guys in concert when I was a teenager. It seems like an eternity ago but I still remember it very well (okay it wasn’t THAT long ago!) I love their music and their concerts are always very energetic.
Their concerts in the ‘90’s were usually at stadiums and arenas but to today they usually play smaller venues. This makes for a more intimate setting. They are still full of energy though! They usually play a mix of their old songs and a few new ones. They did a big tour of the UK in December of 2013 and they usually perform in the UK only, however occasionally you can catch a show in America. If you do you won’t regret it because they are better than ever.
Although they haven’t released a new album in a decade their old drummer, Simon 'Gen' Matthews, is returning to the band. Hopefully this means that some new music is on the way.Jesus Jones is one of the best bands out there, if you get a chance to see these guys in action go for it!
Brighton - The Haunt.
First time seing these and i was seriously impressed!. Great live band, look younger than they were back in the day somehow (from a distance). Highlights... Song13, Move Mountains, Real Real Real and quite a few others. See again definitely!! 9/10
Lovely venue the John Peel centre for arts. I've never been there before and was surprised how compact it was. However, it filled up just fine and Jesus Jones were great. Full of energy and very chatty too with lots of audience participation..
