Join Thursday as we celebrate 25 years of Full Collapse, 20 Years of A City By The Light Divided and 15 years of No Devolucion. We will be playing two sets celebrating these albums and our dear friend Chris Conley from Saves The Day will also be playing a solo set. This is going to be a big ‘one night only’ to remember and will NEVER happen again.

Whilst the real giants of the nineties emo scene in the U.S. took indie rock and lent to it a greater intensity - both thematically and sonically - the likes of Sunny Day Real Estate, Texas Is the Reason and The Promise Ring only ever hinted at post-hardcore stylings; the fact that Thursday would become to the band to take that basic emo blueprint and run with it, incorporating post-hardcore and even hints of screamo in the process, would mark them out as one of the great crossover rock success stories of recent times. Over the course of six full-length records, they genuinely revolutionised a genre that was more than ready for a shot in the arm. It’s perhaps not surprising, given the above, that Thursday live shows were genuinely intense affairs; the sheer physicality of frontman Geoff Rickly’s performances recalled a young Trent Reznor, whilst the band would tear through career-spanning sets with a real ferocity - the sheer dedication of their fans, too, lent the atmosphere in the rooms they’d pack a real edge. They called a hiatus in 2011, with Rickly later confirming that it was in fact a permanent split; he’s now joined former members of Lostprophets in No Devotion, but hasn’t ruled out the prospect of playing with Thursday again one day.
