It was a pleasure seeing Robert Plant and sharing the memory with my son. Although I have been to several of
his concerts, this performance was the best. From the opening song, "When the Levee Breaks" to "Carry Fire" I was captured by his flawless voice.
His true respect for his bandmates was appreciated by all
die-hard fans. He is constantly reinventing himself and taking wonderful musicians on the ride. I especially loved 'Going to California" and my favorite "In the Mood".
Most people see him because of his time in Led Zep but I think his solo music defines where his journey ends.
Also, seeing him at Austin City Limits was the perfect venue. I normally buy the best tickets but I chose to stand by the barricade to have the ultimate concert experience.
Thank you, Percy, for giving me the final blessing of your
gift. May our paths cross again, via con Dios amigo.

Robert's voice & delivery is as strong as ever! His band are... They are bloody amazing! With such an extensive array of work, it would be unfair to yourself if you had expectations of what material you wanted to see, however if you are Led Zep fan you would not be disappointed! With pieces such as Custard Pie, Trampled Under Foot, Whole Lotta Love, a touch of Dazed & Confused... All this & more thrown in to a mix of his current work with 'Rainbow' (for me) as a favourite! An awesome gig & worth travelling any distance such as I did to to soak up this amazing performer! Robert Plant & the Sensational Space Shifters are just SENSATIONAL!
I have seen Robert Plant 6 times now my first in 1983 on his first solo tour and this was one of the best concerts of his I have attended. The venue was great, my seats were great (except the largest man in the building sat in front of me). Robert Plant sounded great and performed many Led Zeppelin songs as well as several from his newest album. Only thing is that I wish he had performed songs off of his first 2 solo albums "Pictures at Eleven" and "Principles of Moments." Overall it was FANTASTIC!!
This performance did not disappoint - Robert Plant is a legend but not one reliving past glories.
The set list combined new with old - a reworking of classic blues and a fantastic selection of Led Zep faves.
Their new tracks were equally well received.
The musical skills of the whole band are awesome and the inclusion of support Seth Lakeman into the main set is a tribute to the lack of ego of the band.
Do yourself a favour and see this band soon
We saw them in London in Oct 18 , first time we’d seen either of them , the band or Mr Plant .
They were absolutely fantastic can’t wait to see them again. So hope they announce some gigs in the uk if not this year or next .
