Críticas en vivo
The man, the myth the legend. The mononymous Bono, best known as the front man for U2, has, on rare occasions, been known to go it solo. Why? Mostly as part of a collaboration with other artists or as part of his philanthropic work. Alas, if you can’t see U2 live, seeing Bono solo is just about the next best thing. He’s used to unfalteringly commanding the biggest of stages around the world, and surprisingly, he’s just as comfortable onstage without the backing of his fellow band members for support. His unmistakable vocal range and tone, along with his signature sunglasses, ensure no mistaking the artist.
Expect to hear big U2 hits, as well as some of his work with other artists and collaborations, which range from Bruce Springsteen and Tony Bennett, to Kylie Minogue and Wyclef Jean. With such a wide range of work spanning decades, it’s almost impossible to predict what he’ll play at a live gig, but he’s been known to frequently belt out the U2 hit One, as well as some covers, including Bob Marley’s Get Up, Stand Up.
It’s not often that you’ll see Bono performing without his widely successful band in tow, but no matter where and when you see him perform, you’re almost certain to get the same grandiose Bono.
