Born to Albanian parents, Bebe Rexha spent much of her childhood being passionate about music, and participated in a number of musicals throughout high school including “Hello, Dolly!”, “Jesus Christ Superstar”, and “Fiddler on the Roof”. Inspired by the likes of Tori Amos, John Legend, and The Temptations, Rexha won the Best Teen Songwriter award at The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences' Grammy Day event, which led to the young songwriter meeting a host of successful producers.
In 2010, Rexha begun writing and recording songs in producer Sam Hollander’s studio, before being approached by Fall Out Boy’s bassist Pete Wentz. With the idea of forming an electro, alternative group with Jamaican influences the duo Black Cards was born, and Rexha singed with Wentz’ Decaydance label in partnership with Island Def Jam. The single “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Fame” was released in mid-2011, however following a host of songs being leaked on to Youtube, the duo’s debut was postponed, and Rexha ultimately left the group in January 2012.
Following a three-month period of courting labels, the singer-songwriter signed with Warner Bros. Records in 2013. By this point Rexha had penned popular songs including Selena Gomez’s “Like a Champion”, Nikki Williams’ “Glowing”, and Eminem’s Billboard Hot 100 No. One hit “The Monster”. The singer’s solo debut single “Comeback Kids” was released to her SoundCloud later in 2013, after which she collaborated with EDM group Cash Cash on their single “Take Me Home”.
In anticipation of her debut album, which features esteemed producers including David Guetta, Fraser T Smith, and Freuqency, Rexha released her official debut single “I Can’t Stop Drinking About You” in March 2014. In December the single “I’m Gonna Show You Crazy” followed, finding success in Finland, Norway, and Sweden, before releasing the subsequent single “Gone”.
Despite only being in his teens, Oliver Heldens was quick to find success with his brand of deep house, initially releasing tracks on the label, Spinnin' Records, having started in 2013. His first releases, "Stinger," "Thumper" (a collaboration with DJ Jacob van Hage) and "Panther" achieved a warm reception although remained relatively unknown.
Superstar DJ, Tiesto, took notice of Helden and signed him to his label, Musical Freedom, before releasing his debut single on the imprint, "Gecko" in December 2013. Gaining significant hype, the track was praised by a number of media outlets and DJs, most notably Pete Tong, who named the track his 'Essential New Tune' on his BBC Radio 1 show. Adapting the single to feature British vocalist Becky Hill, "Gecko (Overdrive)" went on to reach the top of the UK charts.
Helden then turned his attention to his masterful remix of label mate, Martin Garrix's hit, "Animals," managing to completely re-imagine the track whilst maintaining the original memorable melody. The remix gained critical praise, helping to raise Helden's profile. Helden next found success with his remix of Robin Thicke's "Feel Good," before then making a number of appearances at European festivals that Summer, playing big sets at Tomorrowland and Creamfields.
Since emerging in the dance scene in 2018, she has performed her “one-
woman jam band” DJ sets blending her decks with her live piano plus sampler at high-profile
festivals including Coachella, EDC, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Tomorrowland, Electric Forest
and Creamfields. She's also supported iconic artists like Pete Tong (opening up for him two
nights at London’s O2 Arena and then sitting in with the Ibiza Classics orchestra on a grand
piano to play a song she wrote with them), Fatboy Slim, Diplo, Mochakk, DJ Tennis, Dead &
Co, John Summitt and Sofi Tukker, everywhere from Fabric in London, Red Rocks
Amphitheatre in Colorado, The Warehouse Project in Manchester, to Amnesia and Ushuaïa
in Ibiza. Wanting to change the statistic that only 2% of producers are women, she has
provided thousands of female and gender-expansive individuals access to production
workshops, online courses, and scholarship programs for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC creators with
her nonprofit FEMME HOUSE. They have also done stage takeovers at EDC and Hulaween
Music Festival, as well as a Femme House Tour in partnership with Ableton that included in-
person workshops during the day and booking all female/gender expansive lineups at night all
across the US in 2022. She was also nominated for Breakthrough Producer in DJ Mag’s Best
of North America Awards and landed on the cover of Spotify's Best of Electronic Music 2022.
Now signed to Ninja Tune's Counter Records, LP Giobbi will be releasing her long awaited
debut album, Light Places, on May 12, 2023. In January 2023, she shared an official remix
album of The Grateful Dead’s Jerry Garcia’s 1972 solo debut album, Garcia remixing the
album in its entirety. This comes as a career highlight amongst an already impressive
collection of remixes LP Giobbi has done for the likes of Portugal. The Man, Kx5, Diplo &
TSHA, MK, Dom Dolla, Tycho, Carlita and many more.
As the great-granddaughter of Hilton Hotels founder Conrad Hilton, Paris has enjoyed the all the luxuries of wealth and celebrity associations afforded to her. In 2003 the little known heiress became a household name following the release of a blush-inspiring sex tape featuring her and ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon. Despite the content, the film did wonders for Hilton’s exposure and future reality TV series “The Simple Life” filmed alongside (ex-)friend Nicole Ritchie. Since then the star has appeared in a host of Hollywood films including “Zoolander”, “Nine Lives”, “Wonderland”, “The Cat in the Hat”, and “House of Wax”.
Hilton made her musical debut in 2006 with the release of her album “Paris” released on Warner Bros.Despite earning mixed reviews from the critical press the album sold well, peaking at No. 6 on the Billboard 200. Led by the single “Stars Are Blind”, which charted at No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100, subsequent singles included “Turn It Up” and “Nothing in This World”. A pop record in essence, many of the songs also draw influence from rock, R&B, hip hop, and soul.
Six years later in 2010, Paris made her DJ career debut at the São Paulo Pop Music Festival. Despite not earning particularly generous reviews, Paris became highly sought after and became one of the highest-paid celebrity DJs of the year. After becoming the Ibiza nightclub Amnesia’s resident DJ in 2013, the singer and socialite inked a deal with Cash Money Records in order to release new original material. In 2014 Paris released the Lil Wayne featured single “Good Time”, was followed by the subsequent single single “Come Alive” in August 2014.
Bleta Rexha better known by her stage name Bebe Rexha may have only begun her singer/songwriter career in 2010 yet she can already name David Guetta, Pete Wentz, Eminem and Cash Cash as past clients or collaborators. The Albanian born performer casts a striking figure onstage. Now as she focuses on her solo material and releases, she has begun to tour at a more devoted pace to reach her fanbase on both sides of the Atlantic.
Intermingling her danceable solo material with famous collaborative tracks including 'Hey Mama' and 'Take Me Home'. Although a lot of the material is pretty fast paced she still has chance to allow her vocal to shine on a slower cover of 'The Monster' by Eminem which she co-wrote. This lady clearly has untapped talent in a variety of fields yet whilst she has spent so much time in the studio many have not realised she is an energetic and impressive live performer. Although she does not have countless experience on the stage, she still handles it well and as the crowds will surely grow in size it would appear that Bebe Rexha will be able to handle this with a professional ease.
2 hours of fanastic music, fun and a perfect concert experience - thank you for this awesome home-show in Dresden a few weeks back. Haven't danced and celebrated a concert like this for quite a while. Many guest singers, great light show, perfect sound engineering (I could have done without the pyrotechnics, but ok).
And all of that even though he had been really sick the days before. Thank you for these amazing memories!!
I saw Oliver Heldens live perform at the Global Dance festival in Morrison, CO last July 20th Sunday. His rhythmic melodic beats makes me wanna move and get up from the seats... He knows how to put together a great set of music that contains an element of surprise and great dance beats that goes against the monotony of bass music that loses its authenticity fast. His music along with that of Madeon has been epic at the Global dance summer festival.... You will not be disappointed as he was rated #1 DJ in the UK not too long ago.
You'd probably never expect much from a Paris Hilton performance – after all, she's not a musician, right? Most people's perception of her sonic dabblings are probably via Banksy's graffiti of her 2006 debut record, a record which bombed and saw Paris fade into the background for a few years.
But there's been a renaissance. She's teamed up with Birdman and Cash Money (Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne's label) for her musical revival, demonstrating immense talent on the decks in Vegas and dropped some sugar-coated party blasters that have had heads whiplashing around. It's safe to say that's she's back. Glimpsing her in clubs around the world is an astonishing sight. Encrusted in glistening jewels, she gyrates behind the decks, spinning a taut anthology of current pop hits and dance bangers; there's one thing for sure, you'll leave entranced and convinced of her resurrection. Performing her own material – like “Good Time”, featuring Lil Wayne – she's an astounding all-round performer. She looks the part, taking fashion tips from 2008-era Gaga; she acts the part, sauntering with confidence around the stage and displaying immense stage presence. Crucially, she also sounds the part, unleashing torrents of Top 40 bait and synth-based dance-pop electricity. You may have never thought of Hilton as a musician before, but soon, you won't be able imagine her as anything but.
Great show even better hospitality from Smartbar definitely will return soon. Great service etix! The show and experience was very smooth and the atmosphere was on point. Getting to the door early was a good way to guarantee a great spot in the venue. I was in front of the DJ booth for the show.
