The Specific Heats create jangly, introspective indie pop that fuses their love for 1960s pop, garage, and surf with a dash of post-punk energy. After a lengthy hiatus, The Specific Heats returned in 2024 with a new EP titled "Decaydes Later." As of this summer, they've officially returned home to Boston and have just released their third full-length, "Everything We Never Were (but Always Wanted to Be)," which Jangle Pop Hub calls "a triumphant return."
