This has to have been one of the most enjoyable concerts I've been to in a long time; Jim was in fine voice with just a touch of echo and not overly amplified. Chapel Arts is a small venue but even so there was a very small audience which actually made the experience much more intimate and friendly and if Jim was disappointed at the small turn out he certainly didn't show it or short change those of us who turned out.
The set list was mostly familiar songs from his last two albums with a few from his forthcoming album to whet our appetite performed flawlessly.
I've seen Jim several times before in various incarnations and I've never heard him sound better. Buy the cds, hear him live, you won't be disappointed.
