Synthpop is the perfect combination of electronic club music, and fun catchy dance pop, and De/Vision have got the fusion absolutely perfect. They opened the show with their track Try to Forget, and had everyone in the audience on their side immediately. The combination of live vocals, drums, synth, and pre-recorded DJ material was epic, and it was incredible to see how they made all of these elements work together so wonderfully in a live show.
The way that they group worked together was incredible, and it was evident that they love what they do, bouncing banter off of each other between each song and making the audience laugh along with them. They all took turns at various points throughout the show playing instrumental solos and battles against each other, which was incredible to see live, as it’s something that you could never appreciate or experience on the recordings.
Thomas Adam was great at shouting out to the audience to get everyone singing and dancing along, and they had everyone in the crowd cheering and dancing pretty much non stop, which created an amazing energy in the venue.
