Glasgow welcomed back the Brummies, formerly John and Jacob, renamed and here for the first time since the name change, with an intimate gig at The Attic Bar within Glasgow's infamous Garage club. Renamed the Brummies to incorporate their band members, and a nod to Birmingham, Alabama where they hail from. Previously they had only been here as a duo.
The atmosphere was great, and the size of the venue allowed for a lot of interaction between the band and the crowd. Jacob came into the crowd at one point to play the guitar.
The concert was great from start to finish, and the tracks from the new album sounded amazing live. Some popular John and Jacob tracks were thrown in too, and the crowd sang along to all the songs old and new.
After the show the band came out to chat and sign autographs, they are so charming and friendly.
This was the 5th time I'd seen them live, their first show in Glasgow since 2015, worth the wait!
Don't leave it so long next time guys!
If you get the chance to see them, don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed.
The show was amazing! I wouldn't be surprised if these guys were going to shoot to the top of the charts. They brought so much energy and charisma to the show that it was just infectious in the best way. I cannot wait until their next show in the area, because I'm definitely getting another ticket.
