Three exceptional Midlands songwriters and musicians come together for an evening of songs shaped by folk, blues and the stories people carry with them. Expect intricate playing, rich voices and music that feels lived-in, personal and close to the bone.

Abi Budgen & Dan Wilkins bring together songwriting, guitar, poetry and percussion, rooted in Abi’s lifelong love and study of traditional blues and gospel music. A singer, songwriter, guitarist and poet, Abi has developed an innovative and deeply expressive style, and is joined by her long-time collaborator Dan Wilkins on drums and percussion.

Amit Dattani is a Birmingham singer-songwriter whose music draws together folk, blues and Americana, combining nimble fingerpicked guitar with striking lyrical originality. With more than twenty years of performing across the UK and Europe, he has earned praise from BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, Americana UK and fRoots, alongside a strong reputation as a captivating live performer.

Gren Bartley is a UK singer-songwriter and guitarist working somewhere between cinematic folk, intimate acoustic songwriting and finely detailed guitar work. Drawing on older traditions without being confined by them, his music has earned five-star reviews and praise from BBC Radio, fRoots and R2R Magazine.
