John W Doyle is a singer, guitarist, songwriter, occasional producer and self-described "professional noisy person”.
Whether tearing up Europe's festival stages, playing scorching guitar in a smoky blues club with his trio, or perched on a barstool with his acoustic in a songwriters' circle, Doyle is equally at home, as long as there's a guitar in his hands.
Writing songs that live in that place where blues, rock & country meet, his lyrics tell stories of life, love, hopes, hard traveling and big adventures. Sung with a powerful road-worn voice that, in his own words, "still has some life in the tyres", and accompanied by some reassuringly expensive-sounding guitar work, Doyle is a favourite with blues & country festival audiences alike.
