Catz 'n' Dogz

Polish DJ’s Catz ‘n’ Dogz have been doing their thing for almost a decade. They are a duo made up of best friends who have worked on their craft together, mastering their trade over the years. They bring to the table a little bit of an old school vibe, using a mix of vinyl, samples and CD’s. When this pair performs live at their decks, they look as though they’re having such a good time. The adoring audience behind them in the Boiler Room in Berlin this evening is dancing from start to finish to this 130-bpm mix that lasts for an hour. I would love to see a little bit more originality that sets them apart from the rest, but you can’t have it all now can you. Some highlights for me are when they perform “They Frontin” which features Monty Luke on the original recording. “Good Love” is a good track for the good vibes and of course, this set wouldn’t be complete without the epic “Drop It”.
