Jon Amor once again gives a master-class in performance. He starts in the crowd, completely acoustic, before moving to the stage and plugging in, giving a brilliant example of subtly and poise. The electrified sound becoming even more impressive in the comparison, set sets about breaking down blues, rock and soul.
Mid point through the set, he once again comes into the crowd, this time a cappella, to sing us some blues, proper blues.
Often sitting next to someone, singing them a line, involving the whole room he then slips into a cover, and why not Tainted Love? The audience participation he controls down to a whisper, before plugging in and finishing it off LOUD.
This was stunning, an amazing show, in an amazing venue, which continues to punch well above it's weight!
