Montreal-based singer-songwriter Dominique Fils-Aimé, a two-time JUNO Award winner, has established herself as one of the leading voices in contemporary vocal jazz. Her latest album, “Our Roots Run Deep” (2023), won the 2024 JUNO Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year and the Félix Award for Best Jazz Album, underscoring the significance of her artistic vision at the intersection of jazz, soul, and blues.
In February 2026, she unveiled the second part of her trilogy with the new studio album “My World Is The Sun,” continuing her exploration of sonic, creative, and spiritual freedom.
On stage, she delivers a captivating performance that invites the audience to dive into the depths of their own souls, guided by a profound search for connection. “Live at the Montreal International Jazz Festival” (2025), her first live album, highlights her stage presence and her ability to forge an intimate connection with her audience.
She has performed on renowned stages, including the Blue Note New York, the Blue Note Los Angeles, the Monterey Jazz Festival, Jazz à Vienne (as the opening act for Jamie Cullum), and the North Sea Jazz Festival.
