They have an interesting sound; imagine a band that combines Fugazi, Lightning Bolt, a hint of The Fall and a stylistic ideal to play Math Rock from a Punk perspective.
Live they are great!
Those familiar with the fashion stylings of Björk will be aware of her iconic swan dress but these guys took that to the next level. There is something very Punk about making your own costume and wearing it at your album launch gig (albeit a swan dress filled with tube socks).
Guitarist/vocalist Greg plays the most complex of guitar parts effortlessly but also isn’t afraid to play one note for an extended period of time. Bassist Joe compliments the sound with an overly fuzzy bass tone (hence the Lightning Bolt reference), not over complicating things as to let the fuzz take centre stage. Finally, drummer Pablo always has a smile on his face, which is what I look for in a drummer the most.
