Prior to pursuing a solo career Tito El Bambino had made waves in the reggaeton genre with his musical partner Hector El Father. The duo became figureheads of reggaeton, known for popularising the genre aided by their five studio albums: 1998’s “Violencia Musical”, 2001’s “Nuevo Milenio, 2002’s “Lo De Antes”, 2002’s “A La Reconquista”, and 2005’s compilation album “Season Finale”. The pair broke up in 2004 with Tito citing Hector’s disloyalty, and the two artists went solo. Tito’s debut solo album “Top of the Line” was released in April 2004 and immediately topped the Puerto Rican Albums Chart with appearances from De La Ghetto, Daddy Yankee, and Don Omar. The album spawned the singles “Caile”, “Flow Natural”, “Mia”, and “Tu Cintura”, earning Tito a nomination for the Lo Nuestro Award for the Album of the Year.
Tito El Bambino’s sophomore album “It’s My Time” was issued in October 2007 peaking at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot Latin Charts. Led by the single “Sólo Dime Que Sí”, the album features production from The Neptunes and vocals from Pharrell on the track “Booty”. The full-length “El Patrón” arrived in 2009 featuring the likes of Zion y Lennox and British singer Plan B. The album spawned the smash hits “El Amor” and “Under” after which Tito founded his label, On Fire Music.
“El Patrón” was followed by “Invencible” in 2011 which featured El Bambino’s younger brother referred to as Emanuel El Bambi. “Invicto” arrived in 2012 led by the single “Por Qué Les Mientes” featuring Marc Anthony, followed by the 2014 album “Alta Jerarquia”.
The venue was spacious. However the location could have been centrally located like downtown Los Angeles. Not a lot of fans were partaking on this amazing experience. Tito performed as expected! Wish his performance would have been longer. He stated at 1:00 am to 1:47 a.m.
