The Resignators and out of control army

Presented by Focus Group Music and Ska Nation, Mexico’s explosive ska force Out Of Control Army will make their first ever Australian appearances this October, bringing their internationally acclaimed live show to stages across Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales.
Formed in Mexico City in 2014, the amazing Out Of Control Army have become one of Latin America’s most exciting modern ska acts, known for blending traditional ska rhythms, punk energy and commanding brass arrangements. Through relentless touring, festival appearances and a powerful catalogue of releases, the band has built a devoted following across the globe. Their long-awaited Australian debut is set to be one of the standout ska events of 2026.
A major spark for this Australian visit came during the amazing Out Of Control Army 2024 tour of Mexico with fellow Australian ska institution Melbourne Ska Orchestra. That successful run deepened the band’s connection with Australian ska culture and helped forge their desire to bring their music to Australian audiences. A recording captured during that tour is due for release to coincide with their Australian tour.
Joining them on all dates are Melbourne ska favourites The Resignators. Formed in 2005, The Resignators have established themselves as one of Australia’s most respected and enduring ska bands. Known for energetic live shows, sharp songwriting and a horn-driven sound, they have toured extensively throughout Australia and internationally while sharing stages with leading acts from the global ska and punk scenes.
In 2025, The Resignators performed with the amazing Out Of Control Army during a tour of Mexico, where the two bands formed a great friendship. That connection now brings them together again for this exciting Australian run.
