Le Prestige is pleased as punch to be the "Special Guest" of Vapors of Morphine at The Regattabar on Saturday, June 27! We'll be bringing an octet lineup of Chris Forkey (bass), John Glenshaw (drums), Ian Ayers (guitar), Charles Murrell III (alto sax/flute) and Dana Colley (baritone sax) along with guests Brendan Carniaux (tenor sax), Ryan Kowal (vibes), and Elizabeth Steen (accordion). I'm frum Summahville. less'n two miles frum Atwoods. Vapors are the most reliable low dough ten buck covers in town. all 1st chair type musicians who gel like a secret society. I've followed this band since 2014 and the scene of the cambridge jazz melting pot since I wuz a kehd.

the menu is awesome and the beah selection runs deep dark and strange. The vibe is laid back and the band stretches out at points 11mins of 'Like Swimming' isn't at all lazy or boring. they explore these compositions like driven professionals. real fun watching them work. the banter and humor in rare breaks is droll off the cuff wit that fits the atmosphere.
