Origin

Going along as a plus one I didn't think I was ready for what I was going to hear, the performance was once in a life time, that I can assure!

Death Metal is a genre I was very unfamiliar with, but I do like to give each and every genre a try, some may ask why, but the way I see it, good music is good music and a genre can not define that!

The four guys that make up ORIGIN, originate from Kansas,USA. They have been around since 1997 as I learned and seem to have quite a large following on the technical death metal scene. What I noticed about this band is that they are incredibly talented musicians! Some may prejudge and think it's just a load of noise with someone screaming on the top of it, but when you look closer they are hitting very complicated and complex notes!
The concert was definitely very adult, when playing a song called 'The Wrath of Vishnu' they encouraged people to turn the head banging into 'punching, kicking, elbows' this concert definitely is not for the weak or those who bruise easily.

Make of this band what you will, but one concert of theirs and you may have just found your favourite band!
