Orgone and The Bombillas

Orgone brings the funk! Start with a killer bass/drums/guitar/keys four-piece rhythm section with the tightest of grooves, add in an amazing horn section, trumpet and trombone, one very busy percussionist with lots of cool toys, finish it off with a top-rate soulful siren of a singer and you have an amazing band! They brought the heat all night at times jamming with or without vocals. This is high energy funk with an R&B/soul feel.

The opener, Jungle Fire, is equally amazing, featuring a killer percussion section, front and center, to keep the grooves flowing in and out. Solos by each of the 3 horn players were highlights along with some tasty percussion breaks. They are a tight unit and are clearly having a blast playing off eachother with those sometimes complex funky rhythms.
