Gráinne Brady and Michael Biggins

Cavan fiddle player Gráinne Brady launches her new album Back and Forth in the back room at The Cobblestone, Dublin, celebrating a collection of traditional and contemporary Irish tunes shaped by years of playing across Ireland and Scotland. Lively, rhythmic and rooted in the tradition, the album reflects the shared life of the music: tunes learned, passed on and played together.

On the night, Gráinne will be joined by Michael Biggins on piano, who features on the album, bringing lift, drive and warmth to the music.

Back and Forth marks the latest chapter in Gráinne's tune-based work and is best experienced live - full of energy, musical conversation and the joy of shared music-making.
