Punk Goes Disney

Catastrophe Gigs present a night of animated nostalgia, with punk and metal renditions of your favourite Disney songs at the Hamo.

Cover band Saturday Disney have a massive setlist of songs from your favourite feature films that they’ve injected with metal riffs, blistering punk beats, and shreddy lead guitar lines. Expect to hear tunes from Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Moana, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Mulan, Hercules and lots more. From the hand-drawn classics, to the modern era of movies, they’ve got all Disney bases covered.

Chris Duke and The Royals are performing The Lion King soundtrack! All the iconic singalongs from the 1994 masterpiece, featuring a horn section, dual lead vocalists and infectious ska punk grooves. They’ll get you running around in a Circle Pit of Life as you scream the anthems from your childhood. They’ll follow their Disney set with a selection of their own party punk originals.

Garage Noise are opening the show with their eclectic mix of pop punk and midwest emo.
