Wayne Escoffery and Yale Jazz Ensemble

Wayne Escoffery, music director of YJE and featured soloist, celebrates the centennial year of Miles Davis’s birth. For London native Escoffery, this engagement represents a true full-circle moment. He has appeared on the Ronnie Scott’s stage many times over the past two decades, performing with Tom Harrell, the Mingus Big Band, Monty Alexander, Black Art Jazz Collective, and his own quartet.
