Riding the momentum of the grass root movement, Dirty Guv'nahs are selling out shows up and down the East coast with their traditional rock sound and a live show which has been likened to The Crows, The Rolling Stones and The Avett Brothers. Lofty claims perhaps, but the Guv'nahs have managed to craft a sound that is both vintage, yet mature and appears to still be developing and growing along with the band's reputation.
The Guvs’ sound, which has been described as ‘a passionate, jubilant slice of rock meets americana,’ is accomplished through a sturdy foundation of gritty guitar tones and tight rhythms, accented with smooth harmonies, crunchy Hammond organ, bluesy piano and vigorous lead guitar solos. The southern croon of James Trimble also remains consistent throughout and delivers the grit on the likes of 'Don't Give Up On Me' whilst fan favourite '3000 Miles' evokes huge applause from their loyal audiences.
Promoting their new album, 'Heart On Fire' which debuted at number one on the US Heatseekers chart, the boys will once again take the roads Stateside with a selection of new material along with old favourites and covers of classics such as 'I Can't Get No Satisfaction'.
