Their name's Big Sugar and ain't nothing sweeter than this! The four man strong band formed in Toronto have been around for over twenty years, a sign of their success and ability to make music anybody can vibe with. They are purely phenomenal! with hits such as 'Diggin a hole in my heart' they know how to warm up a crowd , with 'ooo's' travelling the crowd as the chorus hit, I had no choice but to join in and head rock to the rhythmic excellence. The atmosphere of the show was laid back and relaxed, as the reggae riffs eased through the tightly packed audience this was clearly a show made to give out that feel good feeling that we all search for in our lives. The tone does get dark at times but that only compliments softer songs of theirs such as 'standing around crying'. A song which invokes such passion from the artists, seeing them perform this is unmatched! you can see the emotion on the faces of the members as if this song really resonates in their hearts because that is precisely what it does to whomever stands in the audience below.
