I know that a lot of people find electronic dance music monotonous and repetitive, but the Swedish/American techno duo without fail put on an incredible show with original tracks, and mixes and get the audience going non stop. Of course everyone far and wide, not just in the EDM scene know the track Tarantula, and this was the track that gave them their break in the industry, and allowed them to collaborate with huge names, and create mixes for huge pop artists.
They opened their show with La La Land which had previously sat in the top 10, and moved on to some of their newer tracks before playing Tarantula and their remixes. The duo maintained their high energy and bounced off of each other really well. They were great at encouraging the audience to join in with them by dancing, singing, and moving closer to the booth. When they weren’t both mixing, one of them would jump up on the table and dance away to the scratching of the decks.
The duo shouted out if anyone had any requests, and even indulged us in a cover of Beyonce’s Love On Top which was awesome to hear with an EDM spin to it. Their energy was sky high throughout, and it really radiated into the audience, so no one stopped dancing for hours!
