Harry Diplock

Harry Diplock is a London-based guitarist bringing a fresh, modern edge to the jazz guitar trio. Focused on melody, swing and interplay, his approach is rooted in the acoustic sound of the instrument and shaped by both French and American jazz traditions.

Originally arriving in London from Devon in 2012 as a builder of guitars, Diplock soon became immersed in the UK jazz scene, where a love of improvisation took hold. He now performs regularly as both a rhythm and lead guitarist across a wide range of jazz, swing and gypsy jazz projects, and is a founder member of the London Django Collective.

Following the release of his critically acclaimed album Trio & Friends and extensive touring across Europe, Harry Diplock brings his unique trio sound and new music from his upcoming album Swifts to this lunchtime concert Upstairs at Ronnie's.
