For any fans of metal, Swedish heavyweights The Haunted's live show cannot be missed. Forming way back in 1996, this band have had almost twenty years to hone their stage show, and it appears just as frenzied and chaotic as when they formed. A total power force when up on stage, the four members throw themselves into every performance and the crowd give everything back.
All eight of their albums have performed well in their native Sweden, yet their latest album 'Exit Wounds' charted at #5 in the US Heatseekers, making it their most successful release Stateside. The successes of this seems to have elevated the band even further onstage, their storming set at Germany's Summer Breeze festival kept people talking around the site as their melodic metal drew fans and bystanders to their show.
Charging through cult classics, the band performed blistering versions of the likes of 'D.O.A' and 'Eye Of The Storm', the cheering masses encouraged the boys even further as they went onto full frontal assault with weapons in hand for a momentous builder of 'Bury Your Head' and a finale of the gigantic 'Hate Song'. With a revived appreciation of metal UK side with the likes of Mallory Knox, Cancer Bats and more all performing well, it's only a matter of time before the masses get wind of The Haunted and they're sure to be very impressed.
