A Casiokids concert is nothing short of a blast of energy. As their name implies they have a playful vibe to them. The “casio” part of their name refers to the funky electronic sounds they make on their casio keyboards and the “kids” part of their name represents their ambition to participate in carefree fun when performing their music. Casiokids’ music has a very edgy sound consisting of short choppy guitar licks, and punchy synth leads. The drummer also creates very interesting rhythms that have the quality of tribal style drumming, and the drums also produce great rhythms for dancing. Other musicians in the band such as the lead singer and bass player also take part in enriching the rhythm of the beat by playing shakers and tambourines, which gives the music a heavy dance element about it.
There never seems to be a dull moment at a Casiokids concert. The crowd is always engaged, dancing to the rhythms of the music, jumping up and down, and waving their hands all around in joy of the catchy music being performed. The lead singer of the band also has a likable stage presence, always joking around with the audience and encouraging them to participate in the fun.
