Di-rect

There are some odd band names out there that I’ve come across over the years, and Di-rect definitely makes the list. Silly band names aside, this band have made quite a name for themselves, with their alternative rock with the tendencies to be pretty mainstream in the best way, drawing in a pretty amicable cult following to each show that they play. They aren’t one of those bands that are embarrassed about their beginnings as they launch right into some of their older material that charted at the start of their career, with songs such as “Just the Way I Do”, which is lead by the ohh’s and ahh’s, with a glistening guitar riff played on a slight overdrive. Tonight they indulge in a little bit of promotion of their most recent album “Daydreams in a Blackout”, with their songs “Paperplane” and “Invincible” making quite the impression on the attendees of tonight’s show.
