Alizee whips up a frenzy in this huge stadium as she walks out on stage to adoring fans screaming her name. The lights are blacked out with the house lights completely off by this point. It’s nothing but strobe lights that illuminate this room; this audience is so excited for the show before them. Alizee appears on stage at the top of a huge heel (yes a shoe) probably about fourteen foot high, and then walks down the stairs with great ease, singing in her native, French.
We are fortunate enough to experience this songstresses, brand new album “Blonde”. She performs songs from it such as “Tweet” and the fiery “K.O” which makes this audience go absolutely wild. “Alcaline” brings the show to an end. I’ve got to say, there is just something about the music that she makes that makes me weak at the knees. It could be that I am English and that French is such a sultry and sophisticated language, let alone when it is sang.
