Stef Kamil Carlens, Nel Ponsaers, and Rahmat Emonds

With THE POEM, Stef Kamil Carlens, together with Nel Ponsaers and Rahmat Emonds, brings a unique musical experience to audiences. In this concert, they rework their own songs and gems from the rich singer-songwriter tradition, where poetry, literature and music blend seamlessly. Singing together takes centre stage, with Stef Kamil Carlens‘ recognisable husky tenor, Nel Ponsaers’ velvety alto and Rahmat Emonds' soulful soprano.

THE POEM's music is minimalist, pure and sensitive, but full of adventure. Each of the three musicians also performs solo, bringing each song to life from their own perspective. With a wide selection of special instruments – from guitars and basses to analogue synths and even an automated snare drum – they create an immersive, intimate atmosphere.

After his successful tour with the energetic band THE SWOON in 2024, in which he impressed with funky grooves and colourful live shows, Stef Kamil is ready to push the limits of the singer-songwriter genre again in 2025. The new studio album will be released by Starman Records in September 2025.
