Mahalia

The show was amazing. It would've been cool if they held it in the next door Fillmore instead of the Foundry which was much bigger, given how many people came. Perhaps they were going to an intimate feel. Mahalia sounds even better live, which is crazy because she already sounds so good on recordings. I loved the inter-song banter with the audience and her explaining some of the songs' important personal meaning for her, for example Consistency being about her mom consistently dancing and getting hype wit no matter where. Jvck James was great, and pretty funny, and Sebastian Mikael was great too, though it was hard to hear him sometimes. I know her Love and Compromise tour ends very soon, though anyone who reads this and is interested in seeing Mahalia live should absolutely do so in the future. She is a wonderful artist with great energy and genuineness.

MAHALIA was a serious VIBE! Seen her when she was supporting act for Mabel in Birmingham and from her Colors performance. Always thought she was a wave and it was great to watch someone perform in my own city and she is from here too. Venue was really good and her song list was well thought out. Definitely would see her again and tickets were so cheap and she did a meet and greet so managed to get a picture!! Happy to see her progressing because she deserves it!

Mahalia is pure sunshine and talent! She has the gift of coming onstage and immediately making the entire audience fall in love with her voice, her music, and her sunny disposition. After the show she came back out just to dance to "I Like It" by Cardi B with the audience; her laissez-faire storytelling made the concert feel like a very musical chat with an old friend. Definitely recommend, definitely going to her next concert in Berlin.

The show was great; it was a nice chill vibe, the band were good and the production was good particularly the lighting. Mahalia said she lost her voice but you honestly couldn’t even tell, she pushed through anyways. She’s super down to earth and honest with her audience, it was almost like she was friends with everyone in the audience. Would definitely recommend if you want a chill, relaxed and heartfelt concert to go to :)

Brilliant absolutely brilliant . I will look back and remember when I saw her live and it cost £11!!!. Well done Wolverhampton . I’ve seen so many people start from a smaller stage in your venues mahalia you are a jewel in the midlands mudical crown, thank you. Amazing. Her voice is so genuine and sounded so good live although she had a cold. The support act (jvck James) was very good. Her drummer and guitarist were very good aswell, although she played lots of songs with her own acoustic guitar. Such an inspirational and fun show! <3

the support was great! i listened to him before the show as i knew he was supporting and i will be listening to him long after the show. she was also amazing and i was very close to the front (there was only one girl in front of me) overall, great show.

She sounds completely the same live. Such a sweet and loving presence, it’s clear this is what she enjoys most. She interacted so much with the audience, and everything just felt really connected. Probably my favourite concert yet.

I really appreciated how she twicked some of her songs for her live performance. She is very in tune with her audience and knows how to address them in a very interactive way.

Whether the best shows I ever witness. Really a great performer and kept the crowd so motivated. Love everything about this show. Can wait to see her again. I drive over 8 hours just to see her.
