If I had to describe this in two words it would be "Bloody brilliant". Fil Bo Riva played to a tiny venue and absolutely "nailed it." Last time I saw them they were just a two-piece (keyboards/guitar/voice + guitar/voice) supporting Joan as Policewomen, they're now a four piece and the extra two players (drummer and another guitarist/voice) makes for a much bigger and rounded sound and takes the what were cut-back tracks into powerful anthems and beautiful ballads. A mixture of cloud pleasers and new tracks from their forthcoming album had the crowd dancing and singing along throughout the whole set. They even did a Johnny Cash cover version!! GO and see them NOW, or you will regret it. In two years time they will be filling stadiums and playing to festivals on the main stage.
