Siriusmo

Moritz Friedrich also known as his stage name, Siriusmo, is the German record producer. He is definitely another EDM artist making waves through the label Monkeytown Records. A lot of his sounds are made up of samples, which to be fair is pretty cool, and quite a skill, but I would argue that it’s got to be more based on the science of putting those sounds together surely. It’s more of a sonic art than music in my opinion. Is he just pushing play? I guess we’ll never know. The sounds that he employs are techno, house and hip-hop. Lets no t forget also that this guy has worked as a graffiti artist and illustrator. Maybe he’s Banksy. This audience are very much ready for his pretty modest half an hour set this evening, in this underground venue. It is an intimate show, opening with “Allthegirls” which is a creates a pretty good buzz amongst the punters, “Immer Wieder” is a clever one too, with the room erupting from front to back, everyone jumping up and getting down in the light of the strobes to this 130bpm music.
