As a unilingual person, it is really important to stress the importance that music is borderless and can cross any language barrier to be appreciated by anyone around the world. Such is the case with Panda (stylized as Pxndx). The alternative rock band from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico has been making music since the mid 90s, and have established themselves fans from around the world. The 4-piece band consisting of Arturo Arredondo, Jorge Vasquez, Jose Madero Vizcaino and Ricardo Trevino jam together so well.
They have evolved their live shows to also incorporate a live string section, making the live versions of the songs that much better, they become completely unique in a way. They speak between each song (the only thing I could make out was a thank you to the crowd), and have a bit of banter between each other as well. They sing and speak entirely in Spanish, and while I may not understand it, there are a large number of fans in the crowd that sing along to every song. The harmonies in the vocals blend together wonderfully, and you could just close your eyes and take in the beauty of the Spanish language, paired with the instrumentation.
