Live reviews
It took me 65 years to discover the Mallett Brothers Band, and I'm embarrassed to say I lived only an hour away from them. Being retired now gives me the time to follow them, and buy their music. I love that they are doing songs their dad wrote in the 70s. None of their concerts are ever less than perfect ! The crowd was ages 2 to 80's, and we all danced in the rain like crazed teens ! Fundraising for a crucial cause is the best. This is a band you do not want to miss hearing. You won't be able to sit in your seat !
Energetic shatkickin atmosphere. Happy, handsome, Free spirits playing sometimes with soulful heart, sometimes like they're having the most contagiously fun night ever, and sometimes with a gusto that makes you think their lives depend on it. Even in the midst of a crushing schedule they are On It every set, never disappointing.
Love these Guys! They seem to play what They think are the best tunes, And...never picked a sour one so far. As long as they Keep on Keepin On, We'll keep a Goin.
See you there.
The band was excellent! We just heard of them on the radio on Thurs., have been out of state for 4 years. We purchased all available CD's. So far, our favorite is this new release. Be sure to read the words and information included inside - very meaningful, some profoundly sad, really good to better understand the Maine stories. We would choose a venue next time in which we could better hear the words of the songs and any narration abut them given by the members of the band. Highly recommend!
Mallett Bros Band? One needn't say anymore.
They are phenomenal,period.
They never disappoint and play to their audience.
Whether it be next to the waters of Moosehead Lake, at the venue at the Maine Lobster Festival,
inside at the Camden Opera House, they are our Hometown Musicians now loved by venues all over the State and the Country. BEST!
Great live band, acoustic guitar work was not overcome by the lead guitar. Tight performance with a good mix of their many different songs. Foot tapping with the music and there was space for dancing. Two good sets with an encore of a Rush song. The theater in the Woods was an intimate venue with comfortable seating and great acoustics.
The Mallett Brothers Band is one of New England's greatest kept secrets! Arriving at Freedom Fest 2014 the band jumped out and grabbed some poles to fish at Fish River Falls before sound check. An awesome down to earth group of guys who lit up the show. Awesome sums them up! Thank you for your support of Veterans!
The Mallett Brothers Band was an unbelievably great show!! They are sooo much better live!! I traveled an hour and half to see them and it was well worth every minute! They each have their own specialty and showmanship. So great! You have to check them out.
The Mallett Brothers Band does not disappoint!! This was my favorite show yet. Great sound at The Met. Hopping happy crowd too. Will proudly wear my new TMMB hoodie. Can’t wait to see them again at The Mist!!
