Fantastic songwriting and excellent delivery, plus some really good vibes from Theo, the band and the whole audience made this a concert I am really glad I didn't miss out on. Everybody was ready for more (a lot more, in my case) when, after about 80 minutes and three encores, including a great rendition of Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie's "Say You Love Me", the house lights went on.
The sound in Privatclub is unfortunatley only so-so, seems there's not much that any sound guy can do here. The floor was a proper sauna (it must have been hell on stage), but the very friendly and competent staff was quick with refreshments and lots of tap water.
7.5/10, would go again.
If you’ve heard his “My Heart is Live in Berlin” album, then you can hear how he can rock live. It’s even more mesmerizing in person. He keeps the audience so well in his grasp he can switch from a fast hype song to a slow ballad without the audience losing energy or interest. Lee, Joe, Jordan and Trevor are also amazing, and the mutual support is something to see. Hopefully he won’t wait seven years to come back to Indy!
This was just a truly amazing show. A multitalented man that surrounds himself with Four fine just as talented men.
Do this. Go! Promise you won't regret it.
Thé music can't really be described as one kind...it's heartfelt, funny, happy, sad, all together. And...thé band loves playing live
The best concert I have ever seen! Magic on stage. Afterwards he took time with EVERY fan. He signed records and talked to everyobody. I didnt have enough money to pay for a record, so he gave it to me for free. This man is a true Legend.
Theo Katzman and band put on an incredible show. I love how he engages the crowd at each of his shows and Venue in Vancouver was the perfect size for that. I can't wait until Theo come back to play another show!
Great show! Theo and his band are energetic and engaging from start to finish. The new material is solid and the highlight for me was Plain Jane Heroin! I highly recommend that you see him live!
